BioLabs is a 23,000-square-foot facility on Franklin Street, which has the lab space to help support the tremendous amount of research that is happening in the Triangle. You can also tap into technical powerhouses like the Chapel Hill Analytical and Nanofabrication Laboratory (CHANL), a specialized nanofabrication lab that breaks down departmental silos through shared expertise. We have program support at every level — state, regional, and local, to help your ideas move forward.

Our talent pipeline comes from all over the region, including graduates from:

• UNC’s new bachelor’s degrees in materials and environmental engineering bridge technical skill with liberal arts thinking, while the university’s graduate programs in biostatistics and healthcare management consistently earn top national rankings.
